Ode to Lexie Lu

1. What she has been doing: Being a girl. She is super behaved! I can see her in school, she will be so eager to learn, and take any type of positive reinforcement. However she is pretty sassy! She wants to "request" what she wears, and in this cold weather it usually involves a "poofy, frilly" skirt or a princess costume. We meet in the middle and she lets me layer her. I am not about to stop her from learning to put together an "ansamble" just because she's almost 3 years old. I'm pretty good at making it match in order to keep us both happy! She is great on her quad too, but like I said, sassy, will stop in the middle of the road, make you come all the way back to see what the problem is, and then she will take off. So like everything else she starts of fearless, and learns when to "play" and "add" her girly personality. She LOVES T.V. She knows all of her favorite shows, when they are coming on (which is crazy), the theme songs, and all the characters. Deegan loves the shows too, but if they aren't super great... they loose his attention (an insight to how he will be in school)! She is pretty lovey too. If you are sitting next to her she will come sit on your lap, or put her arm around you really tight! She loves just going with mommy! Owe and I love this: on the way to and from school I like to turn down the radio and talk. We talk about everything! The kids tell me about their day, what they are going to do, what they did, family, things we see on the way. Lexie gets to serious, and she tells story "details" and she is super honest; "I got a time out", for what, "throwing a toy at Deegie". She talks with her hands too!
2. Her favorites:PRINCESS'. Tinkerbell, pretty dresses. All of Deegs favorite places and people, but she can not go more than two days with out seeing grandma (kind of like mommy)! She is so pretty.
