memorial weekend.
So our summer is going to be nuts, jammed packed with a trip pretty much every weekend!
So with that said we tried to tone things down for memorial weekend (of course, toned down is not an expression that can be used with 2 yr. old twins)! Anyway, we did our first "real" trip to the lake, and although the boat broke down in the end, mommy got a fun wakeboard run in, and the kids had a blast!
The next day we went to the Rice's "playyard" I mean house for Halle's 5th birthday! Unlike Trent's birthday party there, there was not any quad riding but BOBO the clown did come put on a show, made ballon animals/ toys for the kids, painted faces, there was yummy, tasty treats (always love the homemade ice cream) and of course swimming!!! All while daddy's got to watch Nascar from the outdoor flat screen! Sounds simple, but it was a really fun party, and since Deegan and lu are pretty good in the pool...it was great!
More swimming @ Gama Sylvie's on Monday to celebrate her 21st birthday with her, and low key compared to a weekend in San Diego for me...1 day home, and camping for three days!!!
Then a week and a half later it's Carmel, where we will celebrate our 5 year anniversary!
