Tis the Season
These kids have been eating up Christmas!!! Santa Claus is the coolest, the lights are spectacular, and all of the events are a must.
Last night we went to the "holiday cottage" at a local shopping center "Brimhall Square". We brought some non-perishable food, and for a small fee the kids got their picture with Santa. The funny part about that is last weekend Lexie was trying to be the "big sister" when putting the "inflatable" Santa up in our front yard, and Deegan was screaming for his blankie, but the roles were reversed last night.
Lexie had to be held by me, after crying, and would not be on the same side as Santa. Deegan grabbed the candy cane from Santa, went straight to his lap, and said, "cheese".
After that they sat in a fire truck, and we wandered around and shopped while caroler's roamed around.
We have been decorating and again, admiring Santa Clause. At Day Care they went to Russo's books for story time and read a story about a Snowman. Today they helped pick out a tree at the lot.
Oh and we can't forget, they are going to be in their first ever performance at church next Friday. The 2's will be singing songs at the start of Westbrook's Christmas program. We are excited and everyone is invited!
